I have the Godiego vinyl single and album of the same title but this music did not actually appear in the series. The actual ending song was sung by Pete Mac Junior.
Does anyone know if the actual music within the sereis ( by Sato I think) was ever released in any way?

Thanks for your reply. I spent some time on this recently, trying to track down the original orchestrated soundtrack used within the series. So far I have not been able to find any (Sato) recordings available seperately. I've got all the Godiego stuff but their only connected track was not really used in the series. Only the Pete Mac Junior single was used in the end credits.
I have a couple of friends in Japan who are helping me find information. Atsuo Nakamura (Lin Ch'ung) is still very much in the news these day with his green political views. He is about to make another film.
Have you found out anything interesting about the series?
