I have heard that Spy Kids 3D: Game over is the last Spy Kids film, and mostly the actors, including Alex Vega are growing out of thier roles, so it might be to hard of a task to replace them, in less they have them as parents, then the answer is no. Sorry through!

They could still have one though and just make it a regular adult spy film.

if by bomb you mean cost $39 million to make and grossed over $100 million domestically then yea it was a bomb at the box office
Please god don't let them make another one of these low grade movies.

As much as I liked Spy Kids 1 & 2, Spy Kids 3-D was not very good in my opinion. They had too many visual effects and needed a stronger storyline.
Also, even by 2002 the kids were getting older. Daryl was 10 and Alexa was already 14 years old and a teenager (heck, she was 13 during the filming of SK2). This year they'll be 14 and 18. They're not really kids anymore, especially Alexa.

Actually the director commented saying that he is planning an anitmated DVD movie but it will not be starring Alexa or Dayrl, just new actors to do voice overs. he is supposed to start working on it after Sin City 2.
shareThat's cool, bu kind of sucks because if its animated Daryl and Alexa could be in and just have Carmen and Juni stay the same age as they were in the third movie.
shareThrough I know that this is a really old post, but here is an update but they since have done a 4th Spy Kids movie, with of course new Spy Kids, and of course the 2 original spy kids Carman and Juni are the only characters that appear in the movie that were in the first 3. And the movie is called Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D. And here is the trivia from the movie, how it all came to be
The genesis for this film came from an incident on the set of Machete (2010). Star Jessica Alba had her then-one year old baby Honor Marie and was dressed to appear on camera when her diaper "exploded". Watching Alba change the diaper while trying not to get anything on her clothes prompted Robert Rodriguez to think "What about a spy mom?"
Through I thought I recalled hearing or reading that Spy Kids 3D: Game Over was supposed to be the last movie in the series, but you just never know. And that just happened with the Spy Kids movie, none of us could have predicted that Robert Rodriguez would have decide or even get inspired to make a 4th movie, even after years after the 3rd one.
Too bad the 4th one sucked
