Recording cut out!

Just been watching this, and the recording cut out at the scene where De Niro is hanging on the hooks above the camera and Ed tells him to take a break as he has company. Getting close to the end - 2hrs in on the recording, but then there's adverts in there too. How much am I missing? Can't find it online anywhere - sometimes do that just to catch the end of something that I missed like this.

So annoying!

DeNiro is wating for Norton to cut the cameras again. Even though he 'says' he has commpany, he really doesn't. As it shows Norton sweating out DeNiro.
Finally, he cracks the safe, grabs the sceptre and heads back down to the tunnels. Norton intercedes, threatens to kill DeNiro for the loot. He gives it up, the alarm goes off. DeNiro grabs his mask, which Norton forced him to take off.

Now, since the camera feed was cut, the main guard tells his crew to make another sweep of the basement until Ironclad Security shows up. They are on their way down when the bells went off. They first went to check the safe then spread out to look for DeNiro who was seen on camera real quick. As they enter the tunnel, DeNiro is seen lowering himself down to a sub-level. This is from an earlier scene when he is shown looking at the grate under the ladder up to the basement. Meanwhile, Norton, as Brian the janitor, appears and exits thru the metal detector to the outside. He almost doesn't make it as the guard holds him back while the cops arrive.

Danny, now realzing that its safe to come out of the closet, sees the computers that Norton has set up, hear the alarms and went downstarits too. He also is held back as the police enter. But by then, its too late, as Norton made his quick getaway.

Norton, having ditched the green jumpsuit, is seen running away with the secptre accros his back. DeNiro is drving away and it almost appears that he is chasing Norton.. Its then revealed that Norton is racing down the riverfront to the bus station, that leaves for the U.S. in five minutes.
He calls DeNiro to make sure he got out and sorta rubs in the fact that he double-crossed him. Norton felt dis-respected and that DeNiro & Brando took too big of a cut on the job 'that he set up from the beginning'

DeNiro, who by then arrives at his stop, a tugboat to take him up river to make the handoff to the buyer. He tells Norton to take a second look at his 'prize'
Which he does, and its revealed to be the dummy sceptre that they had in the workshop while going over the plans. Norton tries to save face, saying he will rat him out to the cops.

But DeNiro has that covered. He tells Norton that they will be looking for Brian, the janitor. That his workshop and tools are gone and that he, as Nick Wells, is a tax paying jazz club owner. The final jab is Nick telling Brian/Jack, "OK, bye bye" and gets in the boat. There is a quick scene with Brando watching television as they talk about the heist and then DeNiro showing up at the airport to whisk his lady love off into the sunset.

While the film overall is by the numbers. It's a fun one to watch, simply for the three geneartions of actors involved and the Montreal setting.

Wow, thanks so much for the full reply. If it had been a one liner, meaning that I hadn't missed too much, I might have skipped it, but that's quite a bit and a few weeks down the line I've already forgotten enough of the film for a lot of that to not make much sense. I might have to re-watch it sometime. Like you say, a pretty formulaic and ultimately I guess forgettable film, but it was entertaining while I was with it. Annoying to have to go back to it for the last bits though

Thanks again
