Nick used a depth-charge to blow open the safe?

An explosive force in that water powerful enough to blow that safe door off its hinges and send it flying across the room -- wouldn't the pressure also crush the scepter, including the box it was in?

I would think there'd be significant warpage to the box on the bottom of the safe to the degree that he'd have to do a lot of prying and bending to get at the scepter. Or, all the stuff in the box would have been blasted all over the room.
