Did he really made a joke right before she might get raped?
It's the scene after the first encounter with the pirates.

The German lip sync says something like:
"Hey, you should count yourself lucky: At least it's not adultery!"

Or is this just the cheap translation with their underpaid students?

Something like that. Since she's his girlfriend and he's a bastard he says:"Given the circumstances I wouldn't call it cheating"
