Cruel but correct! Mantegna is a very good actor but he's no Spenser in spite of "Dr." Parker's comments. Parker is a sellout...milking Spenser all the way to the bank. A&E wants Mantegna as Spenser? Sure says Parker even though Mantegna is clearly at least two inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter than the Spenser we know from the novels.
sharei enjoyed this movie but it isn't one of parker's better spenser adventures. tom selleck is doing well with his jesses stone movies so perhaps the time is right for spenser to make the jump to the big screen .... any contenders for casting?
