Lesbians?

Agatha and Corinna...did anyone get that vibe? Lots of films/tv shows have a couple of gossiping ladies who (kindly)meddle in all town affairs. But this one seemed different. I kinda got the feeling they were writing them as lesbians. Obviously they didn't say clearly, but did anyone else get the feeling they were writing them that way? They would say things like they were a couple. Saying one of them was a great baker and "it's a wonder I'm not in a carnival side show the way she cooks for me"

Thoughts?

Thought they were sisters??

Hmm...did they say they were sisters? There was another moment where Corinna was like "Agatha, dear, could you help me in the kitchen?"

It struck me. I don't know that they ever specifically said

When they were introducing themselves, they said they were Miriam's neighbors from across the street and they saw her last when she was like 6. I'm assuming Emilie is about 30, so they've lived together at least 25-30 years. They're probably late 60's early 70's now, so they've lived together since they were 30's-40's. They don't look anything alike, so that makes me lean away from sisters

Nevermind...rewatched it--there is a scene where Nathan says "Your neighbors, the two sisters..."

Sisters it is! :-)
