Girl in the bathroom

Although this is a awful film I actually thought that the girl who got stabbed about 30 times in the bathroom was actually a cool death scene, especially when you see all the mirrors covered in blood but apart from that a downright awful film.

When the killer popped up in the backseat of the car and suffocated the girl with a big plastic bag it was well done, that was a cool death scene for a cheap slasher movie like this.

I thought all of the kills were pretty good. Too bad most of the movie didn't make sense. Maybe a little more explanation, build up of who Granny was supposed to be and some development that made us care if the characters got killed would have made for a 70 or 80 minute film.

Overall though, it was pretty well shot (don't get the reviews picking on the camera work. If you don't understand artistic camera angles don't comment on movies that use them.) The acting was actually pretty high level for a movie of this type and like I said above, the kills were pretty good for ultra low budget horror.

It was a goos scene but what I don't get is how she just basically stood there and made no effort to resist! It was better than average for a film of this budget etc.

Ummmm.... this particular scene was dreadful! The close up of the back with the knife going in (that was clearly a dummy), the total lack of blood on the knife and "back", the total lack of blood anyhwere except the mirror and the tomato ketchup smeared across the mirror. I did laugh when Granny appeared to go take a dump afterwards, however. How that girl was still alive I do not know. Another thing, if this was all just a 'skit', why did they show the knife penetrating the girl's back?!

The two funniest parts of this film are 1) when the guy is thrown out of the window and 2) when Granny pops up from under some grass to strangle the girl.
