They are going to do a feature movie of the Dukes of Hazzard!

I love the idea that they are going to be doing a movie of this wonderful TV show but I just read on MSN that they are going to have Britney Spears of all people potraying Daisy Duke, Ashton Kucher(or however you spell it) playing Luke Duke and I can't remember who in the heck is going to be Bo Duke. I can see this movie being a flop, as it breaks my heart to say that. I mean come on Britney Spears?! The girl lost her accent when she joined the Mickey Mouse Club and I am sorry Ashton did a really good job in Just Married and all but I can't see him doing a southern accent. This thing is going to need ALOT of prayer for it to go well. Can't they find someone else though to play Daisy Duke? How about Britney Murphy?

I wont watch. The casting sucks. Its like asking Bill Mahr to read excerpts from MEIN KEMPF. Heartless, bloodless and lifeless...

Wanna see Dracula in a silk shirt? Look at the !@#$ing A!@#oles who thought this up.

I'll stick with The Originals. Mr. Producers, thank you VERY LITTLE and you're welcome EVEN LESS!!!

actually the casting is jessica simpson as daisy duke johnny knoxville as luke duke and sean william scott as bo duke so i think its worth watching

Yeah the new movie looks kick ass!!! I can't wait to see it myself! It would be great if they would show it in I MAX!

It really sucked.

Except for the racing scenes with the General.

Actually, the closing credits were kind of funny. I suppose those outtakes were the highlight of this movie for me. I was otherwise very, very disappointed and more than a little pissed off. The characters might have had the same names, but their personalities came from some other planet.

Bo (literally) in love with the General?
Uncle Jesse getting stoned?
Give me a break!!

If they had been able to cast Danny Devito as Boss Hogg, they might have saved the movie a little. But not enough. The plot was believable but the characters weren't. The acting was OK, but was it really necessary for every third word to be "[*beep*]"?!

I would have thought that those of us who grew up with the show would be their target audience, but I think they were shooting for a lot younger than that.

A LOT!

Did you know that they're making another movie? It's coming out in 2007. It's a whole new cast, but Willie Neilson is gonna play Uncle Jesse again.

Uncle Jesse-"Keep dreaming them dreams"
Uncle Jesse-"Don't look at me,I'm as confused as you are"
