At the end of the first reunion movie just as Daisy and Enos are going to tie the knott, Daisy's ex husband shows up in his RV. Daisy faints and when she comes around, she tells Enos that it is all too much and can't handle getting married again. Enos states that he will just have to wait until Daisy grows up. I guess she still hadn't grown up as of the Hollywood movie.

Enos is going to be 60 and still trying to get Daisy. It will be like the woman who worked in the post office, the 80 year old woman who was trying to get Unlce Jesse.

Too bad Daisy didn't give it up to Enis, so he could go on and live his life.

Come to think of it, there was more than 1 time they were supposed to get married. In a Dukes episode, Enis is going to be arrested because of something Daisy witnessed. Since wives can't be forced to testify against their husbands, Daisy proposes to Enis. At the end of the episode, Enis is the one who dumps her, and she is left broken hearted.

Good ole Miss Tisdale and her motorcycle. She did have a thing for Uncle Jesse. Yup, it would have been nice if Diasy and Enos did tie the knot.

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong reunion show but wasn't Daisy married to Cletus in one of them. I was looking here because that confused me as I also thought she'd married Enis.

No, you didn't miss anything - Enos got down on his knees and proposed to her in "Hazzard Reunion", and then she broke it off at the end because her ex husband's appearance caused a mild panic attack (and Enos said he'd wait for her!)- and this wasn't even mentioned in the "Hollywood" one. I was disappointed in that - there should bbe some continuity. It's a great storyline. Couldn't they keep it going?

Boy, you mean to tell me that Enos and Dassy never got back together.Man that's mess up, they make a really good couple though. What happen on the movie (the Hollywood one)I've never seen it?

reply

Call me crazy, but I like to believe that the Dukes of Hazzard reunions are more of what-ifs than what actually happened. At least, I wish it were so. In my imagination, Daisy and Enos get married when they're still young and have a couple kids, Bo and Luke never settle down but are still ladies men, and Uncle Jesse and Boss Hogg will live until at least the year 2000 and even then die within the same year (seems fitting, since they've known each other so long). Oh, and Rosco and Cletus still are the police force.

Some might say I'm delusional, and I probably am, but I can't help but imagine that.

By the way, was Denver Pyle in the first reunion movie? I think he was but at the same time I have some doubts. Anyone confirm it?

That was Denver Pyle's last movie/television appearance as he died shortly after the initial airing of the movie. His beard that he has in the movie is clearly fake as he was also wearing a wig I believe under the cap.

As far as Daisy and Enos, there were so many girls throwing themselves at Enos in "Hazzard in Hollywood," I've come to think that after getting jilted at the altar, even though Enos said he'd wait for Daisy, he may well have finally given up on her. Notice that he made no moves toward her whatsoever after their initial greeting.

reply

I can't say I blame him. I mean you can try to win a gal's heart for just so long and then you finally realize you're just wasting your time. That's what happened to Enos.

Someone who is VERY well connected in the Dukes hobby once said that Cathy was reluctant for Daisy to marry Enos becuase of the age difference between her and Sonny. Sonny is much older in real life than he appears in the Dukes...
