Worth watching once in a blue moon

This romantic comedy/drama/fantasy is like a piece of cotton candy that goes down easy but ultimately feels a bit empty at the core. The cast is strong, even though the script feels overly heavy-handed and manipulative.

It's always great to see the late Ben Gazzara, even though, as with many of his films, he deserved better. Rita Moreno is worthwhile as well, though this isn't one of her better roles. 6/10 stars from me.
