My husband and I have been up all night searching for a show he thinks he remembers. According to him, there were puppets who lived in a departmemt store with a woman who took care of them and and a security guard and they would get into tons of mischief. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I think he has combined elements of different shows with that of Pinwheel. Any thoughts or clues to what the heck he's talking about?
shareThat's "Today's Special," which aired on Nickelodeon around the same time Pinwheel did. There was Jeff the mannequin who would come to life at night, Jodi the caretaker (or whatever her title was) and then there were the puppets, Muffy the Mouse and Sam the Security Guard along with some others. This show is easier to find than Pinwheel because it was released to video. I think I saw some VHS or DVD's of the show for sale on ebay not long ago.

Does anyone also vaguely remember Cookie and Poofy from the old school Nickelodeon,in the mid 80s, like the Pinwheel era? I remember it was like a hand puppet show, and they sang something like "My name is Cookie, My name is Poofy, we all (cant remember the word) together!"
