Was this short on Pinwheel?

I posted this in the "I need to know" message board here on imdb, and am not getting any answers. So I'll try here....

I'm trying to remember a cartoon "short" on a children's variety tv show. Early-to-mid 1980s. I think it was on the show Pinwheel, or maybe Sesame Street, etc.

The short was of a girl who does various hobbies/chores. The style of the animation wasn't a typical cartoon - I don't think - it had a similar style to Max & Ruby (almost like a stop-motion feel to it, like moving paper dolls or something). The colors were always vivid with lots of patterns & thicker black outlines. I think the girl had yellow or orange hair.

ETA: Very similar style to Crystal Tipps.

The one short I specifically remember was her sitting at a table, doing a craft project & cutting out paper shapes. I think the narrator might have been a man, possibly with an English accent, unless I have that confused with other shorts. I also feel like a dog or cat was in these skits. Any clue?

As you picked up on in my post, that was indeed a series. I think some animation company in Denmark or Finland did it, along with other cartoons that had a similar animation style. The craft series you're talking about was, indeed, dubbed over with an English male narrator.

I wonder if this could be related to the Clock Man short...

It's said to have a similar animation style, female protagonist and narrator.
