Does anyone know who is singing in one of the night clubs during the movie? I believe it was a woman singing and some of the verses went like this: "Now look at the mountains, I look at the sun, I look at everything, mother nature has done, and I want to know why, can't, I find a love of my own." If anyone knows who this is, or what the song is called, please let me know. Thank you so much!!! :)

The song is called Love Of My Own..originally done by the Capris..Is a hard to find song nowadays..Got my love of oldies from my Mom..so I find hard to find songs. I recognized the song from the movie when I saw it on TV in 2000..song was later redone by carla Thomas who also did the song Gee Whiz in the film. Can be found on the album..Gee Whiz..by Carla Thomas Copyright 1961 Hope this helps!

my question is, at a certain point, right after ruby gets fired, there is a song playing, and the singer says something along the lines of "i hate to see you go, but you gotta leave" or something, which goes on until you see the main character exercising with that rope-machine thingy... does anyone know the title and singer of that particular song by any chance ? you would help me out a whole lot with that information...

The song is 'Go Now' originally written and recorded by The Moody Blues in 1965 (3 years after the events in the movie!!). I think it was written and sung by Denny Laine who almost immediately left the group - he later surfaced in Wings and is credited as writer (with Macca) on Mull Of Kintyre, the first single to sell 2m copies in the UK! It went to no. 1 in the UK and haven't looked up where it got to in the States but it would have been a hit as TMB were all part of the British Invasion and is a fantastically catchy song!!

Gee Whiz is available on iTunes. Incredible song. I'm going to enjoy this one! It's amazing what a bit of insomnia on a Sunday night can reward you with!

shareHello I'm also desperate to find out who sang 'gee whiz' in the film - when I looked at the credits they said, 'torch singer - michelle' .... somebody!! and I cannot for the life of me remember the second name. It began with 'M' and I was so sure I'd be able to recall but I can't. Her version of 'gee whiz' is definitely different from Carla's and I'd love to buy a copy but who is she and where can we buy it??? HELP!!!
