I'm sure I'm not the first to wonder/ask about this, but does anyone know the story on her? She's the only major BG/BG2 voice actor I've never been able to find a pic for, or at least a bit of background. There's also the fact that she went from doing lots of voice over work to suddenly stopping and (apparently) never returning to the biz.
Interesting observation. She is "not" listed among the voice credits in "The Siege of Dragonspear Castle" game which is the new sequel/prequel of the Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 just released this past March. Jaheira is in the game so someone else must have voiced her or the developers pieced together enough clips from the other two games.
I could not find anything she has done recently either, be it IMDB, Wikipedia or on one of the sites that list voice actors. It does appear she has "retired" from the business. I seem to recall seeing a picture of her on IMDB a few years back but cannot be certain.
Not much help I am afraid. Jaheira has some great lines and Ms. Shannon delivered them well.
