Does anybody kno wot countries chewin the fat and still game are shown in? Coz a didne even think they were shown in england or anywhere else in the uk, just in Scotland!

Nah, they're shown in England too, usually the re-runs though. If It's on a Friday night It's Scotland only, on a Saturday It's England too, same with Still Game, where in Scotland you from anyway Steph?
shareI heard that they show it down in England with subtitiles which means that "gonnae no dae that" becomes, "going to not do that" which really kills the joke really, is this true?It would be a shane if t is, although i am not sprised but no offenc, it dont think anyone apart from someone who has lived in scotland, or speaks broad scots, can really understand it fully.

Well said crazytalker!! Chewin the Fat and Still Game are pure quality, reeking with the banter. I've you've been to Glasgow then you'll know the type of people these shows are referring to. Chewin the Fat and Still Game have created some of Scotlands best loved tv characters just showing that the shows are made primaryly for the people of Scotland and if people outside Scotland end up liking it then its a bonus.
Any one know when the new series of Still Game is going to start? Can't wait for that.

here mate its not like your being forced to watch it, is it, if you don't like it, thats your opinion, doesn't mean that anyone else who likes it is going to actually care, and plus this has nuthin to do about how smart scotland is, we could take you on anyday my son. You only have to sit down and look at some of the trash that you get on the telly to see that the trash is coming from both sides, scotland does have some really crap shows (river city the worse show EVER) but its not just scotland making all the crap shows.
