can anyone remeber the name of the band that sung that song on the show once which went "fast fast forward and me dad he drives a tractor". they dressed up like farm boys and sung it. cna anyone help?

Dunno, might be the Wurzels, sounds stupid but to what i remember - Iain used to love tht Wurzels and they were regularly mentioned on the programme.
I DO remember that they had some sad guy who made a song about Nicky Campbell (the guy from Wheel of Fortune/Watchdog) running for mayor, he even ended up doing a bungee jump on camera screaming "RING THE BELL FOR NICKY CAMPBELL!", it was in the tune Hey Mickey!

T'was a good programme, and even better that it was the beginning of Ricky Gervais and Ali G.
Just a shame it's not longer on.. :S
Don't remember the song, but the band was definitely Cyderdelic - they were semi-regulars on the show.
This show also has some of Gervais' best work, IMO.
