Did any one else think that Chad Lowe looked startingly like the real John Denver? Do you think that if Mr Denver was alive today, that he and Chad Lowe could be mistaken for twins?

I loved this movie, and also thought Chad was good for this part. I tried taping this when it aired on CBS, and I'm so happy that it's on DVD now.

Sadly, I only "discovered" John Denver after I moved to Colorado. I love so much of his music, and I'd like to find out more of how closely this film tracks his actual life. Is there another source for info?

There was a song that was played on the tv John and Annie were watching on wood stock it was a woman singing, does anyone know the name of the group and the song?

Yep. Chad Lowe was great as John Denver. Can't imagine anyone else playing him. I'm glad he lip synced his music. No one can sing John Denver like John Denver :) Great movie. Very sad that he didn't get back with Annie. It might have saved his life.
