This movie was only 2 hours? I was going to post, "4 hours of my life that i'll never get back."
shareI agree. I'm laughing at the person below that is baffled by the expression "2 hours I won't get back". They are way overthinking it.
Point is, this movie was SOOOOOO predictable, and I should have changed the channel the moment she proposed marriage. Seriously? Green Card?
I have no sympathy for anybody in this movie. None of the characters are dynamic, unless you count the cripple that put on a nice shirt and jumped back on the train at the end.
Sorry, I smelled a rat from the first frame, and it ended the same.
I'm not sure why anyone is defending this flick, aside from ego and elitism.

I was let down by the ending. I felt that it was too predictable, and had expected a less obvious twist given the superb cast.
shareHaven't seen THE PRIME GIG in a long time, but it made a great impression on me the first time I saw it. It was very authentic in its evocation the weird, hyped-up, depressing dynamics of the telephone sales world. Excellent actors, particularly Vaughn and Harris. The ending was very low key, and frustrating in a way, like life, particularly when one is stuck as Vaughn's character is. Particularly liked the scenes with his character talking to the older lady, getting her to "invest."

I'm under the impression that 6-8 hours of sleeping no one is getting back some hours eating ( along the day ) no one is getting those back either
how long you spend on the bathroom or showering a day ... not getting back
watching stupid stupid dreadful T.V shows , sure not getting any back
and god only knows how many nonsense you do on a daily bases that as well you'll not be getting back
so that brings us to the fact of why are you angry at this 2 hours movie and not at ...hmmm food i.e food is not giving you back any hours as well

The point is that with eating or working or sleeping you are getting something from it. The OP's opinion is that the time spent watching this movie was wasted, with no return on his investment.
I don't agree with that opinion, and think that almost every opinion that I've read on this board is off base and makes wrong assumptions. But I hope you now understand the sentiment about "not getting time back".
