If you remember the beginning, Vince Vaughn cut a deal with Ed Harris to get his commissions every week. Ed said fine, but you get 17% and not 20% and don't tell anyone.
He was the only one getting paid. So she set him up to empty the bank account herself right before she split with Ed Harris.

shareagreed. he should have gone through with it but moved the money to another bank in a safe deposit box or a storage place in another name so she couldn't find it. would have loved to see the look on her face when she went to clean out the account and there was only 5 bucks in it!
