Ok lets forget the odds of a bully escalating a fist fight to stabbing and ask a different question. How can someone simply die from one poke in the side? I mean it seems hardly more than a flesh wound but I am sure with paramedics on the scene in minutes after holding pressure on the wound, he would be just fine.

oh yeah and to top it all off......what is with the upbeat and silly music as the credits are rolling? First you hear Trevor is dead then there is the sad montage with the candlelite vigil then the credits roll with this music.

I had to reply to this because I know what you mean about the music at the end. Trevor dies and it's all sad and I cried then all of a sudden this cheesy music from the credits plays and I'm like wtf? Did they really have to use that music? Lmao.

You'll must not watch many movies. There is always a stick in that one side followed by "bleeding out".

While a stab wound to the stomach is certainly possible, you're more likely to be stabbed in the lower area of the gut, being the intestines. A stab to the liver, for instance, will likely kill you much faster than your intestines, given blood flow, proximity to other vital organs, etc.
