Yeah, but the "piano" made sopunds of a pipe organ. I guess the director couldn't tell the difference

It was 83, so it was probably some cheap synthesizer.
Probably no one would notice today, because everything you hear is some crappy synthesizer...

Pretty sure it was a poopalo.
