"Chanfle" is Spanish for "Curl", a soccer technique where a player spins on the ball to make it change direction. The characters created and/or played by the famous comedian Chespirito used that word as a substitute for "Oh, my God!" Therefore, you would think that if he were to work in a movie with that title, it would be about a soccer player with an omnipresent aura. Nope. This one and its sequel are about a soccer waterboy who probably can't even afford to tithe. He gets involved in all kinds of shenanigans, but his heart always remains pure.
If you're a fan of Chespirito's T.V. shows, I should warn you something. These 2 movies have the same style of humour, but they don't present it the same way. There are less long takes and wide shots, so it's not as obvious that the actors perform their own stunts. Authenticity in physical comedy is key. Also, there are practically no hits to the head (with exaggerated sound effects). Instead, there are instances of fast motion (like it was a silent movie).

«Chanfle» es una técnica de fútbol que consiste en patear el balón de tal manera que este describa una trayectoria curva. Los personajes creados e/o interpretados por el famoso comediante Chespirito usaban esa palabra como sustituto de «¡Ay, Dios mío!». Por lo tanto, uno pensaría que si él fuera a trabajar en una película con ese título, se trataría de un jugador de fútbol con un aura omnipresente. Nop. Esta y su secuela se tratan de un utilero de fútbol que probablemente ni siquiera puede permitirse diezmar. Se involucra en todo tipo de locuras, pero su corazón siempre se mantiene puro.
Si son fans de los shows de T.V. de Chespirito, debería advertirles algo. Estas 2 películas tienen el mismo estilo de humor, pero no lo presentan de la misma forma. Hay menos planos de secuencia y planos amplios, así que no es igual de obvio que los actores realizan sus propias hazañas. La autenticidad es clave en la comedia física. Además, prácticamente no hay golpes a la cabeza (con exagerados efectos de sonido). En vez, hay momentos con cámara rápida (como si fuera una película muda).
