There are no other films "like it." There are, however, a great many good, interesting, and entertaining gay-themed movies. Get Real, Shelter, Is It Just Me, etc. And then, there are a a great many gay-themed movies that are not worth the plastic they were recorded on. I won't name any of the schlock movies, as someone else reading this will probably feel they were wonderful movies, for one reason or other.

When I came out in the early 2000s I loaded up on as much gay cinema as I could get my hands on. My favorite is probably Beautiful Thing.
