The 1986 Rambo cartoon is on DVD!

Everyone I want you to know I have found out from the website TVshowsonDVD.com that the Rambo cartoon series has been released on DVD. I have just purchased them this last week. If you have a Wal-Mart store in your town you can find in the electronics department two DVDs that each have 11 episodes of the show on them. So now we can see Rambo and the Force of Freedom defeat General Warhawk again!

wow, i just came to realise the first movie wasn't titled "rambo", i thought it was "rambo: first blood", that's the translated title i always knew it by since i was a kid. i find it rather funny that there is a cute family movie called "son of rambo" considering how violent these movies are. somehow this makes more sense, they used the formula and turned it into a cartoon. uh.. you're right, it's still strange. since i was a kid, i always got the idea that these movies were so violent, not sure how by todays messures.

the blue music still play,
but you're gone away,
listen to it play,
while things around is all changed,
in the early morning of what once was,
sometime some cute chick tickles and thats about all,
blue music once in a while come through,
though very seldom compared to,
the blue music reminding me what's long gone,
what used to be in yesterday morn.

One thing i can tell you is now since all the rambo show has been released on DVD there is one good moral value to it. It teaches that GOOD always wins over evil because each time old Warhawk tries something he looses.

hello obsolhei,

I have to say that out of all the episodes of the Rambo Cartoon my most favorite one is the one titled "The Iron Mask" and the reason it is my favorite is how it shows that little boy who gets a bang on his head and looses his memory comes directly to Rambo, Turbo and Kat for help. Then when he gets his memory back of who is the man wearing the Iron Mask Rambo has figured it out too and Rambo comes to save the day and causes that man to give up. Tell me what you think of that episode of the show after you have watched it.

It's pretty cheesy, but fun...

This show may be cheezy to some but it is far superior to the garbage that tv stations are showing kids now because the way some of the tv shows these days are more violent than all the cartoons made from 1930 to 1988 combined together could be. This show has some moral guidence of good winning over evil where the new cartoons made since 1998 have the good guy characters behaving like the villians of the old cartoons and the villains acting far worse or those that the good guys attack are more like victims instead of villians.

Best line out of the entire series? right after Rambo rescues the Dalai Lama

Lama: Thank you for helping my people Rambo..

Rambo: Your people are MY people! All men are brothers.

amen!

I just wish they had released all the episodes in order.

If there be a god...than hide from him our most evil enterprise!

And then Rambo shoots him in the face and calls him a dirty hippie, right?
