Was thinking about buying 1 of these series, but which one is better? I am a really huge Tails fan, heard he is non-existant in Aosth. Satam seems to be a bit more serious and don't have as childish drawings. Any suggestion on which series would suit me better?

Tails hardly appears in SatAM, he only gets a very minor role except the pilot, Sonic Past Cool and Drood Henge. That's the serious one.
AoSTH on the other hand has Tails in every episode even some where he's the main character (Tails in Charge, Tails' Tale) instead of Sonic.
It just depends on what you like, if you like Robotnik taken over Mobius and Sonic and the Freedom Fighters trying to save their Uncle Chuck, satAM for you.
On the other hand, if you like the idea of closest to the games with Sonic Tails and Robotnik. AOSTH for you.
Why not buy both? I like both of them equally (even though I am more of a AoSTH fan than a SatAM fan).
Tails was gonna get properly developed and become sonics sidekick in season 3 if they didn't cancel it
Satam felt closer to a sonic game imo, aosth wasn't that funny, didn't feel like the games, i wanted the show to get better over time but it didn't, i gave up watching till satam came out, in comparison to the mario cartoon it was pretty childish in comparison till satam.
I wanted to liked aotsh as a kid, even watching the beginning to the final episode i still hated it, i kept watching it because i hoped it would get better when the robot monkey came in but it still wasn't much better.
Some people prefer this, some like the other one, some like both, that's just my opinion.

Yeah, go with Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails is in it a lot more and whatever you do, DON'T get Underground, he isn't in it at ALL.
shareNah, it's SatAM that Tails' appearances are limited in, not Aosth. If you're a Tails fan, Aosth is probably better. He's in it pretty much the same amount as Sonic, is his usual adorable self and the show is really funny.
However, SatAM is a much better show in every respect(except the Tails factor), it's storylines are intriguing and it's actually among the most sophisticated of children's cartoons I've ever seen. Way better than the sh *t they're forcing on kids now a days.
It all depends on what you are looking for in the show. If you are a huge Tails fan, than AoSth would be a better show for you since Tails is in every episode. But, if you love shows with really good writing and great relationships between the characters, than SatAm would be a much better show. Personally, I go with SatAm because the characters were more developed and the writing was just stellar.
