Boring

That's it. Boring.

Other than the novelty of seeing Rachel Weisz as a blonde, I agree. The plot wasn't so bad, but the writing and direction were terrible.

totally.
my new thread for the board was going to titled,
'whatevs' cause this sucker wasn't really scary,
very funny, or even sexy...didn't really move...anywhere.

It's not suppose to be scary, funny or sexy. I don't understand how you could think it didn't move anywhere either. Theres murder, mystery, twists and turns, strange characters.... I agree it isn't the greatest film, and one viewing is enough, but i've definately seen worse attempts at this genre. It's a fun little film for what it is and entertained me enough where I was never bored.

If you were looking for a film similar but more entertaining in the funny, sexy kind of way I'd suggest High Heels and Low Lifes. They are both about 2 women taking on gangster types trying to get a big score except High Heels And Low Lifes is definately more comedic and has better a better script/casting. Definately check that one out.

I just watched this film and i thought it was pretty good. Not AMAZING mind you, but it gave me something to do for an hour and a half. 6/10 from me.

I completely agree with you. I've watched it three times and each view I pick up new things. It's actually very clever.

TO the contrary! I found it very hilarious, and I watched it about 7 times.

reply

I really enjoyed it. 10/10

If it's a boy, do you think it will look like Rodney? It doesn't matter as long as it's healthy!

reply

I've watched it three times now and loved every minute of it; from the time Dorothy winds up with that pipe to the time when she and Petula open that trunk, looking for tools, and discover something much better. And, I realize how judgmental this sounds, but to me, anyone who didn't like this movie at all just really can't like movies very much.

reply

I agree, I was bored to pieces. The only reason I watched till the end was because I was curious to see how two so completely dumb characters might get away with murder.
They could basically author a book titled "How NOT to cover up a crime".

But what really threw me off was that simply all the men were so evil and the women were the poor victims wrapped around their fingers. As if in that universe it's implied all men are evil and violent and women are kind and compassionate by default.

No redeeming qualities for any character made me care less and less what happened to either one.
Except the dog. =D

Cutesy kind of flick. Not great. Not the worst. 6/10.
