Shawn Hatosy is a good actor, and the movie was good, very good in its own way, although much different from the book, but Danny Dyer was just fabulous. I suspect he will be the next Sean Connery (meaning reputation, not similarity of acting ability).
shareya he was very good. and hes kinda cute too. is he gay in real life? cuz if he isnt then he did an excellent job portraying it. usually i wud be all freaked out if a guy kissed shawncuz im like in love with him, but i didntmind danny doing it.

If only for that, I think Danny deserves the highest praise possible.
I just finished watching the movie and it's amazing. Love Shawn and Danny, in it. Am gonna go crawl into bed and cry a bit more, because, well, yeah.

My god wasn't he...so so so unbelievably good...Poor Charlie his heart is breaking and it's soft and you can tell it from his eyes. He just has this wounded sufferance about his every move with regard to Brendan...gah love...
