Ending?

Can someone please tell me how this movie ended. I saw everything but the last 30 minutes.

"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

suzanna gets to go back to hungary where the couple that brought her up are now lving in budapest. she stays there for a while but then realises that while she felt she didnt belong in America, she doesn't really feel at home in hungary either. so she goes back to america. it is a really good film but the ending is kindah abrupt. oh yeah, one more thing, suzanna asks her grandmother while she in in hungary why her own mom hates hungaru so much and it turns out that once suzzannas mom was having dinner with her parents n this drunk russian soldier tried to come on to her. so suzannas grandad tried to protect his daughter, n ended up gettin shot. i know it sounds a bit confusing in writing but i hope thts good enuff! :)

Suzanne went back to Hungary because she knew this is the only way to find her identity. SHe met the couple who took care of her in the first 6 years of her life. The couple lived in Budapest at that time (their little house in the countryside was taken away by communists). Suzanne met her grandma, Helen, who told her why Suzanne's mother 'hated' HUngary so much. It turned out that Suzanne's mother's father was killed by a RUssian soldier, who wanted to abuse Suzanne's mother. SUzanne"s mom saw the death of her father. In Budapest Suzanne realized that altough she likes Budapest and still loves the couple who brought her up, she does not belong to HUngary. She belongs to her real parents in America. But she needed this trip to Hungary because it helped her to put the picture together. She went back to America and the closing picture is that she met her family at the airport. I expected something more to the end - e.g. more about the real SUzanne Sándor - but anyway the movie is great.

The real one is actually Eva Gardos. It was based on her life. She did everything including shooting the door her mom locked her in and everything. My acting teacher (Agi Banfalvy) is in the movie and told me.

Your love is like a shadow on me all the time
