I was watching a clip of "Chad" on the phone with Carson Daly on TRL and Carson was calling him Chad. Now, I knew that 2gether wasn't really a "real" boy band and that it was an act, but did other people not know that or was Carson just going along with the whole thing?
shareOf course he knew! That was part of the beauty of 2gether. Everyone acted as if they were a real band. God I miss those lads. I remember the 1st time I saw them on TV. It was on a show called The Big Breakfast in the UK years ago before the TV show came on air here and I remember thinking.. IS THIS FOR REAL?!?! Even then they were acting as if they were a genuine band... they still rule!

On the pilot episode of "2gether:the Series," the opening scene has Carson Daly speaking to Chad on the phone, which I believe is the scene you are referring to. 2gether has appeared on TRL numerous times as themselves and not the characters they play, so it would be weird for them to just show up and pretend that they are different people.

I know I'm almost a year late responding to this, but their first cd was simply a soundtrack to the movie. Their second cd seemed, to me anyway, a soundtrack for the series. If you notice, almost every song on their second album (if not every song, it's been so long since I've seen them) was highlighted in an episode.
