I'd've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids.

I'm looking forward to joining you guys on your next show. All of those look worthwhile to me.

I'm not going to vote this time, because I'm not sure that I'll be sticking around. If I join in for the duration of this next show, then I will definitely join in the next vote.

Note: I believe that Moon Bloodgood has a similar role on Daybreak to the one she had on Journey Man.

come on in and Belly up to the Bar Zed. if we go with Daybreak it's only 13 episodes of ground hog day. Should be interesting I hope.

Let's see who else votes until Thursday. Until then, I was thinking of something that would help. We vote, but when there is an explanation why certain shows were voted, it's brief and general. And we not always explain we did not vote to choose some shows that keep being suggested.

The idea I have is that if some shows I suggest are not likely to be picked, maybe they should be retired from my suggestion list, and perhaps you think the same about yours. Not all of us have bob-402-252005's patience of Job to keep pushing a show like God, the Devil and Bob. (And perhaps you can also explain the reason you guys picked such weird nicknames for you.)

So here are my impressions about the suggestions:

Caprica - Great show! Loved it when I saw it. I thought the pilot was flawless. But I don't feel like seeing it again. I've seen it too recently. I remember all the surprises and plot twists just too well. Maybe a few years from now.

Day Break - Never seen it, and looks promising. I love Groundhog Day style stories. And the cop show element means it won't fall into melodrama.

Defying Gravity - I'm on the fence. It could be too "soapy." But I could be very wrong and it could be excellent drama. But whatever it is, I'm quite certain it's, well, more drama than sci-fi.

Jericho - I don't feel like seeing it for the same reasons given about Caprica.

The Middleman - Never seen it. Looks fun, zany and harmless enough. it'll never be great, but not likely to be bad. I'd give it a try.

Total Recall 2070 - One of my favorites. For some reason I can watch it again any time.

All good choices have interest in Defying Gravity but it’s not on Netflix. Watched some of Total Recall 2070 it was O.K. maybe we can do it sometime in the future.
1 Day Break
2 Jericho
3 Total Recall 2070

Franco please go ahead and vote glad to have you along on our journey….

Well, I liked all the shows presented this time since my buddy wlcebtg didn't throw UFO up there just to torment me.

I liked Defying Gravity more than Day break but simply because Daybreak was on netflix and I have never heard or seen it. I went with daybreak.

Caprica was the one I really liked but since madp had said he would just a soon not watch it again so soon I left at 2 instead of one.

Jericho same as Caprica...took other groups feelings into consideration there

The Middleman...I love this show, it's so bizarre and quirky, very snappy dialogue delivered at lightning speed. very pleasantly surprised when I started watching this one.

Total Recall 2070...just not real excited about this one not sure why, i'm sure it's left over residual from Arnolds movie.

OK, UFO is blacklisted from future listings in your honor.

I guess Defying Gravity will be a casualty of the Netflix factor.

Jericho and Caprica are shows I really cared for, especially Jericho, and I followed each plot twist and turn anxiously. Maybe if a rock hits my head and I suffer from amnesia I'll be able to delve into the story all over again. That would be great!

I have the feeling we'll get to watch The Middleman sooner or later, keep insisting.

Total Recall 2070 is a cross between Arnie's movie and "Blade Runner" with something of its own. Great show if you don't mind the reduced budget and all the Canadian actors involved.

UFO is out of my system recently watched them all on YouTube. I know Stone didn't like them but they really weren't that bad. If it wasn't for one scene I think he could have made it through the rest.

reply

You know better than that....it was one scene that broke the camels back....just say no....to UFO.
