i used to watch this show at my friends house.
Have any of u seen the one where this girl had to go to this old hospital for kids who had diseases and adults who went insane? she went into the playroom and it was all dark and stuff. Her dare was to ask the ghost children if they wanted to come out and play, and roll this ball around. so she asked them if they wanted to play, and the ball rolled back to her. she was like FREAKING out!! then she heard this like sound that was like children singing or playing or talking or something and she like ran right out of there. i was scared.

I always figured that quite possibly, that particluar scene was rigged, some some MTV crewman in the shadows who just rolls the ball back..that or maybe it just bounced back after it hit a wall. lol

my guess is that they build a fake floor, then put magnets in the ball/floor.

or it was slightly raised uphill

magnets sound too complicated. I would just assume the producers noticed the floor was uneven, so the ball would roll back to her no matter what. That just makes sense, right? They researched the places before they sent the people to them, so they knew on any structure issues or drafts, that could work in their advantage.

I'm sure some things where done just to mess with the contestants heads, and make it more entertaining for the audience at home watching.....
