new episodes in 2009?

A buddy of mine said she heard mtv will be bringing the show back in feb 09. I've looked around the internet a bit but haven't found anything to back this up. Has any body out there heard anything about this?

I don't know about new episodes, but the Celebrity Paranormal Project is a show with an almost identical style. I just found out about it and am checking it out now.

I hope they won't bring back Fear because a show that ends for a few years and then comes back usually sucks because they change things too much. It will probably have too much special effects or something.

i did read (on wikipedia) that it is coming back in feb 09

I heard it's coming back too. I checked on mtv's site and it does in fact seem to be coming back. They said some of the name's of the new places. It's supposed to be on Sunday's at 8pm.

I think you guys are seeing commercials for 13: the fear is real 8pm Wed on the CW

it was for 13 the fear is real. Ha.

but for some reason MTV did air promos for FEAR again several years after it was canceled. I remember seeing them and being excited because the promos said the show was coming back. might have been in 2004 or 2005, can't remember. Turned out they were just repeats with bonus material and interviews with some of the contestants.
although I never saw them but I was told that's what it was.
