Did anyone else feel that the whole "you were attracted to my magic" argument was a cop out?
It was very unsatisfying and added nothing interesting to the series, like every other surprise has...

That has nothing to do with Yue and Touya. It was Syaoran that was attracted to Yue's magic. Touya was attracted to Yukito himself. And they couldn't have Syaoran truly attracted to Yukito/Yue because he was supposed to be in love with Sakura.
At heart, we're all just a bunch of closet Anthony Rapp stalkers (no, this quote isn't serious).
Ah! Thank God! That was my one big beef with the show!

I think Nakuru is funny and cute,she and Toya would make a pretty good couple.Not Toya and Yukito,they are both male,but I understand they were both attracted to each other.

though i agree, but kinda disagree - the tension was really tangible but it wasnt at the same time. i think they could have made it even more..
id love to see a hollywood film do something like that though - OHSHC does it well (and no, its not a hollywood film or an english film or anything english to begin with).
actually, I have been dreaming of someone writting a scrip based on a relationship like that. that'd be interesting.
and yes - touya was already in love with yukito before he knew - or was certain of yukito's original form. i think he had already guessed pretty early in their first aquintance that yukito wasnt human. though, in my opinion, i think touya might be (slightly) influenced by the pull of power, like sakura and syaoran. only because he fell for mizuki-sensei too. but that is only my opinion.
I love CCS, they raise a lot of bars. though - funnily enough - as ive read from someone's post (and made me think) - this and some other animes (shoujos) never explore these themes deeply enough.

Point is (and this is a year late point) that Toya was genuinely falling for THAT PERSON. Look at it that way. For him, I think, Toya's the kind, the bisexual kind, that looked passed people's gender.
Hence THAT PERSON. I don't want to generalize, but I fear I will with this assumption but Toya is the kind of person who looked passed the physical outfit (if I haven't reiterated myself enough).
And the fact that Yuki, himself, wasn't completely human kinda projected that side of Toya's.
I think Toya's and Yukito's romance so cute! :p
