Sort of. I think the last scene was Joey's visualisation of what he wanted to happen. Remember he believes if you visualise your future it will happen. He is in bed with Bonita when he hears the police sirens and he imagines the press conference Nikki will give once she is over her shooting injuries. Nikki says she loves him(or at least sings).

Then again, may be he either killed her outright at the apartment, and is imaging a future he wants to believe (she isn't dead) or perhaps he missed her completely and she is calling the police on him. May be the police sirens he hears have got nothing to do with him.

Either way his life is destroyed. Bonita will know it is him particularly if Nikki is dead.
