I was wondering, can anyone say where the film is set? and mainly the cliffs where Cillian drives off. It looks really like Wicklow just outside Dublin, is that Lake Glendalough that he drives into at the start of the film?? I was only there a few months ago and there were flowers at a really steep cliff that looked like that one, where people had had car accidents. :( can anyone tell me if im right or not? ta muchly
shareI am not sure about the cliffs, but i do know about the hospital it was filmed at. Maybe this will help with the rest of the film. It was shot at St. Brendans,a Psychiatric Hospital situated on the north side of the City of Dublin. The Hospital was founded almost 2 centuries ago in what was then a manor farm, known as Grange- Gorman. It is now referred to as Grangegorman.
I am utterly jealous that you have been on those cliffs. I would love to visit Ireland!
