a great early movie for CILLIAN

I first noticed him in 28 days later.........who is that scruffy guy buck naked in the hospital? kinda cute. and the sound of sheer terror in his voice as he screams (hullo!!!), and throughout the movie, when he is scared-- just made the hair on my neck stand up. so when he cleaned up i thought "oh ya- this is one actor to watch". i must say he has not let me down. after seeing him this summer in Sunshine (again-- his acting is just top notch), I started looking back into his earlier work. Disco Pigs just blew me away. It's like an artsy music video put to film. the man is INTENSE!! and then another surprise as i started watching his earlier work-- he's quite funny, too, as we was in ON THE EDGE. sure, it's a heavy subject, but he is just charming and intense and a pure pleasure to watch.

I can not wait to see where his most excellenet talent takes him in the future. I know I'll be there, caught in those blinding baby-blues.

He certainly made me sit up and take notice when I first saw him and he was only playinh a minor part! (Dr Crane - Batman Begins) But I did think that I should look out for him in future and once I'd seen 28 Days Later I was hooked!

I love all of his films but I do think I prefer his earlier ones and it was an excellent early role for Cillian. I totally fell in love with Jonathan Breech!

I also first saw and noticed him in Batman Begins. To me, he was freaky and very good as Crane/Scarecrow. I thought he was rather intriguing but it would take me a while to actually realize this. As time went by, I'd seen more of his films and saw that he's outstanding as actor and very versatile. Then, I'd seen this film a few days ago and once again, he was wonderful. This is one of his earliest films and he showed back then that he has serious talent.
