Where's Hospital Security When You Need Them?

In this movie, like so many other movies about psych hospitals, the patients find ways to sneak out. Psych wards don't usually let patients roam around freely, and they certainly don't let them leave the grounds. There are no locked doors? These characters were in the hospital for attempted suicide. There's no way they could get out without being stopped.

SPOILER?

Yep, had to admit they had pee-poor security...especially in a suicide ward!!!

the gal that they talked about who cuts her own intestines out once a week. Why aren't they taking all sharp instruments from her?!

And Toby's family...did they end up suing because of the way he ended up, while supposedly in the care of this hospital?

Still like the film though!!

Agreed. It's stunningly unrealistic. Maybe it's possible in Ireland, I wouldn't know.
