Why there is no more dicussion for such universal film ?

Herod's Law (1999) as IMDB shows it is released in 2000 so there should be more discussion for this film and it has also got good ratings.

Whats the matter with this brilliant movie ? I think many people take it as maxican kind of movie that will not appeal universally.Okay It is about maxican political party but one thing is common for whole world that "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolute."

It is certainly in list of best political satire movies ever made.

Absolutely.

The ending was absolutely hilarious and unexpected.

I'm thinking the movie may have hit a little bit too close to home for a lot of people.

I know it faced some controversy down in Mexico. Maybe that hindered it.
