does anyone know the connection

remember the scene with the knife guy and the girl who died in the kiddie pool of poop, were sitting in the car and the knife guy started talking about waht makes people happy and he took off his shirt... does anyone know or think that him taking his shirt off and saying he's a god had anything to do with ryuichi taking that orb sphere thing out of his chest... thats just a connection i saw and i want other opinions
