From all the hype this movie is getting as a SUPER HYPER VIOLENT ACTION FILM!!! on this site it's highly overrated. The movie has a very uneven pace which makes it annoying to watch. What happened to the style used in the very fast paced intro??? That was great. After that the movie just turns into this typical cop movie. BUT WAIT THE END IS ALSO GREAT!! The ending is horrible as well. Again with the build up I'm expecting this huge epic fight. But instead the main guy pulls a bazooka out and the other guy has this orb thingy and Japan blows up. WTF! If the movie had an actual explanation for doing that, then maybe I would've liked it more. But it's just random and pointless, and also that scene looked really crappy. No wonder it's a made for T.V. movie.

It definitely wasn't what I expected. The trailer and first 10 minutes of the film make it look like Miike's answer to Hard-Boiled, and it turns out it's nothing like that. I'll have to watch it again to make my mind up whether I like it or not.

Its the best ending to any movie ive ever seen. That is to say besides Dead or Alive: Finals ending of course. Which you should see. I think you might enjoy DOA Final since it has alot more action.

OK, so what you're looking for in a film is SUPER HYPER VIOLENT ACTION? Hm- that's kind of cheap, isn't it? I surely wouldn't post on IMDB or anywhere else portraying myself like that...

you clearly don't appleciate the movie. its avant-garde humor.
the uneven pace was intended
T3 and stealth might be more what you want from a movie...
