dvd details/editions
which is better (esp. for the first two movies) The Tartan versions (uk) or the Kino dvd's (us)? Deciding which ones i should get.
shareI had both but gave one to a friend. Get the box set from the US as you get the interviews too. Tarten DVD are very eratic when it comes to production of film quality. 'Agigtator' has terrible reproduction quality yet films like 'Lady Vengeance' and 'A Bittersweet Life' have gorgeous visuals. I love Asian cinema but finding the best quality DVD's is another thing entirely.
