There is one scene in the movie,,,(spoiler)

Remember that the female employee was trying to give Ray an excuse for her reading the romance novel?
She said something about since she was going to become a man she decided to try it while it lasts or something like that. Was that sarcasm? Or was she really serious because it wasn't mentioned ever again in the entire film. If she was supposedly going to become a man than she shoudn't be getting turned on by a Hot Indian Man.

She said that because Ray was so distracted she thought he wasn't listening, so she started joking about having a sex change operation.
He retorted at the end of the convo about the sex change comment, showing her that he was listening after all.
