Does anyone else think this title put some people off?

I did. Someone told me to rent it and I said.."No Xmas is over". They said it's not really a Xmas movie and it wasn't. It was very sweet, cute and beautiful scenery. Maybe "In the Clouds" or something. I was SHOCKED it made nothing at the box office.

Anyway, nice light hearted romantic movie. Nothing heavy, nothing world changing but still nicely done.

I'd recommend it to anyone.

I found it so boring, I turned it off half-way through and returned the DVD. I was disappointed.

I pretty much felt the same way after buying Weatherman. I cant decide whether or not to destroy the disk. As for CITC, I have a more closer attachment. I joined an independent film group in my state where we screened movies made under a 1.5 million dollar budget. We usually got a good attendance and every once and a while one of our local AMPAS members would show up and at least give it a vote or two for the Oscars. For this movie, we invited everyone of the principles, crew, and producers. Most of the cast showed up along with Kate and a member of Robert Redford's staff. It screened well and we hoped for a good disribution schedule. They left the evaluation dvd of which I made a copy for my own collection. It passed into obscurity and is now just a random selection of independent movie channels. I think Sundance runs it about every few months. You just have to remember it was made at the Sundance Resort and that production values were way limited.

The movie isn't horrible but I thought it would be crazier because the trailer for the movie was a bit crazy. The title shouldn't affect people. Like the last holiday it is set during christmas but its not really that much of a christmas movie.

I'm human and I need to be loved.

This can be watched anytime of the year. Lots of Christmas titled movies use 'Christmas as an excuse.

It's kind of hot this time of year (July) and that is when I LOVE watching movies that sound like they might have snow in them.
