one of the most overrated film ive seen
i thought it would be alot better than it was, it wasnt THAT bad it was mediocre/ok....plus do people actually like this guy? because he was the author of a best selling book?

shareIt's plenty reminiscent of the empty, nihilistic exercises in blood soaked hipster "cool" that Guy Ritchie was doing around that time, but fortunately stopped a step or two short of being as annoying as self satisfied dreck like Snatch. Bana is indeed pretty magnetic at the center of it all (even though there's some borrowing from De Niro's psychotic performances going on), and the thing is well filmed, but nevertheless it remains unclear as to what the point of it all was supposed to be or why this story of a deranged mass murderer needed to be told.

I'm from England and I got it completely. And the humour is great too, but I guess us English and you Australians are very much alike anyhow. Anyway it is a fantastic film.
shareThis is far from a Snatch type movie, albeit a documentary of sorts, but only time on film where the stab victim hugs his attacker, points a gun to his friend, then loans him money, shoots up a man's club, to come to his house to apologize, begs his girl for forgiveness, then beats up her and her mother. Great realistic stuff.
shareI can't understand why people love Chopper Reid...the guy was a criminal...just sayin folks.
