Was he a good father in your opinion or a bad/weak one?
My emotional opinion is that he was a father who loved Geoege unconditionally, which is good. But if I analyze it more, I feel he should have been a little tougher on him.
What are your thoughts?
I think he did he best job he knew how to do ...seems like he was probably a battered/bruised husband who struggled through life and gave George what he could
same goes for parents of children who grow up
to be porn stars, pimps or careers which are less desirable....u can't control your children (well I suppose u can but I can't imagine it is healthy)..,u have to trust u have instilled enough values in them to make good decisions and support them
these are not bad people- George was not a bad person- but easy money is hard to turn down. George did not want to be poor and he afforded a grand lifestyle
George loved his father and it seemed he did
make time to see him and spend time with him-
which is more that a lot of kids do.
there are worse sons out there than George. just last week I had a case where this 17 year old
was beating his 66 year old father for years,
and it accumulated in cutting his cheek with a
knife.
extreme I know but there are worse fathers in the world than this guy.
