Your post troubles me on a number of levels.... Even if the god/dess was well disposed towards the Ottoman Turks, why would she help what was only one group of invaders of the land (the Gelibolu peninsula) over another.
Remember that the whole western side of the Bosporous was only fairly recently occupied by the Ottoman Empire, having been 'stolen' from the Byzantine Empire. I can't accept that the goddess mother would want to specifically help such a bloodthirsty and barbaric tribe, particularly in the light of their own savage campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing perpetrated against the land's rightful inhabitants: the Anatolian Greeks, the Assyrians and the Armenians. Then there's the ongoing repression, murder and ethnic cleansing of the Kurds from their own ancestral tribal homeland, a campaign that continues to this day.
These ethnic minorities have lived in their respective tribal areas since well before the days of the Hittite Empire, some five or six thousand years. Considering that the Hatti, and later the Hittites (the turkic peoples) invaded Anatolia only around 2000 bce, then THEY are the invaders! Even at its biggest historical size, the Turks never ever lived west of the Bosporous until after 1453. If anything, the goddess mother would be more likely to expunge the 'evil' Ottomans from the earth forever, like what happened to the Nazis a few years later.

I don't think god has a sex: s/he's most definitely hermaphroditic. When you're a 3' 6" green pus-oozing goblin from the planet Zorgon in the Alpha Centauri cluster, you're so ugly nobody want's to fornicate with you. S/he has to impregnate herself. Poor god!
