Does anyone remember the Eureeka's Castle "Don't Touch That Box" special? I think it aired in prime time the first time it was on. I keep thinking to myself that Luther Vandross played the head wizard, but I could be wrong. I can still remeber the lyrics to one of the songs: "Don't touch that box or Eureeka's gonna yell at you-ooh" Am I totally crazy? I can't find any info anywhere!
shareI believe you. I saw that episode with my kids and thought what a good singer that wizard was. I waited for the credits at the end of the show and it said Luther Vandross as the wizard. I would love to get a copy of that song if available.
shareThanks, Pat 1444! I was really wondering if I was the only one who remembered. I watched the show as a child, and I eventually grew up tp be a big Luther fan. That show was always in the back of my mind. Since his passing, it kinda came back to me. I actually have this and the Christmas special on tape (although, I do seem to be missing the first few minutes.)I had the Halloween episode "Nightmare on Magellan's Street" at one point. But I was so young and it scared the *beep* out of me so I ended up recording over it with an episode of Power Rangers. I now regret doing it because now I really want to see it.
