I'm looking for good psychological thrillers and this movie was mentioned. So is it any good or was i misinformed.

Yes most definitely. Especially if you are after a psychological thriller in particular. It will leave you reeling and clawing for answers by the end though!

Old Boy? I've just searched for that on here out of curiosity and couldn't find a match - is there an alternative title?

Sorry ignore me I found it - all one word "Oldboy".

I think that this is not a really good movie.
Directing is ok, special effects are ok, but
acting is over-simplified, dialogs are naive.

The whole thing is somehow a low level copy-paste of the german ''Tatoo''.

Watch Kyoshi Kurosawa's 'Cure.' This film starts off really promising but loses its edge at the 30 minute mark. The second act drags like crazy and for no good reason.
