Good movie, well acted.

Franck was a bit tough on his dad at the very end, but it made for a good film. Well done.

Yeah, I loved it! French cinema is where it's at, their human dramas are great to watch at home with your family. His scenes with his dad were well handled, no doubt, you could tell they were building up to something like that (even if I often felt as though the writers were going a little overboard in trying to establish conflicting dynamics between them in just about every scene). And Lespert was GREAT, if a little too easy to read.

His father played a perfect part. You almost think he wasn't acting.

Yeah I have to agree.. very good actors especially the father!

"Wait!" "Worry" "Who Cares?"

Yes - as much as the father is a doormat, I did feel Franck was rather hard on him... I don't think this has dated well and it felt like more of a polemic than a drama. But, I found it watchable enough.

As I understand it, the son was almost the only professional actor in this film. The boss also seems to a professional actor. All the other characters, including the father, were played by local people. That's impressive. Especially the father was very well played by Jean-Claude Vallod. A perfect simple working man.
